# Base32 Encoder

> Encode and decode RFC 4648 Base32 in the browser. Handy for OTP secrets, human-typed tokens, and case-insensitive transport. Codec runs locally with no upload.

Runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

## About this tool

Encode and decode RFC 4648 Base32 (A–Z and 2–7, with = padding). Decode is case-insensitive and ignores whitespace. Invalid alphabets fail instead of silently skipping characters.

How to use: paste text, pick Encode or Decode, copy. Common for OTP shared secrets and identifiers that should survive case folding. This is not Crockford Base32 and not Base32hex.

Example: a short token becomes a padded Base32 string. Pair with Base64 if the consumer expects that alphabet instead.

Codec is local. Secrets used as OTP seeds stay in the tab. After load, encoding works offline.
